Do you work with travel agents?

Yes, we do pay commission on bookings you make with us. For more information on our commission structure and how to work with us please give one our G Adventure Specialists a call at 1-800-708-7761 (North America) or 0870 999 0144 (in the UK).

Do you have an Agent Incentive Program?

If your company has a preferred agreement with G Adventures, we offer an amazing incentive to agents. In order to qualify for our incentive program, you MUST make all bookings using Sherpa. Our call centre is there for your support and for getting the right information for your clients but when you are ready to book-book through Sherpa and be one step closer to YOUR G Adventures experience.

How do I book a tour for my client online?

We have an interactive online booking engine, called "Sherpa". This innovative booking engine allows agents to book live space on our adventures, add services, retrieve invoices and vouchers as well as order brochures. Please visit www.gadventures.com/agents to learn more.

To get started, please ask your manager for your username and login. Or, to have your agency set up for Sherpa please have your manager visit www.gadventures.com/agents.

Once logged into Sherpa, input the desired trip code into the "trip code". Once this has been submitted the departure dates will become available to you, Select the desired departure date and click onto the "Book Online" button.

If the departure is outside of 60 days (90 days for Expedition-based adventures) you have the choice of holding a space (i.e. an Option) for up to 2 business days, or to confirm by paying a deposit of USD/CAD/EUR 250 or GBP100 per person (USD/CAD/EUR 500 or GBP300 p.p. for Expedition-based adventures) using your client's credit card. Within 60 days (90 days for Expedition based adventures) you can also hold space or confirm the booking with full payment via your current payment method with G Adventures.

  • If you choose to Hold an Option online you can return to Sherpa to confirm the booking. Please be sure to have your client's passport information, date of birth, medical or dietary needs and emergency contact information in hand when you call. For further information regarding the confirmation process please see the Sherpa User Guide that can be found within any page in Sherpa
  • If you choose to Confirm immediately you may do so via Sherpa. Please be sure to have your client's passport information, date of birth, medical or dietary needs and emergency contact information handy when you fill out the form.

How do I "Hold an Option" for my client?

There are two ways to hold an option: Via Sherpa (see above) or by phone 1-800-708-7761 (North America) or 0870 999 0144 (in the UK). Payment is not required and after holding an option you will be provided with a Booking Reference Number and instructions on how to confirm. Options that are not confirmed within 48 hours will expire and your client's space will be released.

**Remember bookings not made through Sherpa are not tracked for our Preferred Agent Incentives**

What details do I need to confirm my tour in Sherpa?

  • Full name as it appears on their passport
  • Passport number and expiry date
  • Nationality
  • Full mailing address
  • Date of birth
  • Occupation
  • Emergency contact name and phone number
  • Details regarding any medical or dietary requirements

Can I book and confirm a space for my client without holding an option?

Yes! Please be sure to have the following details on hand:

  • Full name as it appears on their passport
  • Passport number and expiry date
  • Nationality
  • Date of birth

Does my client need insurance?

 All of our tours require your client to have medical travel insurance which includes at least USD$200,000 worth of emergency evacuation and repatriation coverage. On Day 1 their tour leader / G Adventures representative will ask to see proof of coverage. Cancellation insurance is recommended but not mandatory.

How do you send out travel documentation?

All documentation can be retrieved via Sherpa. When all payment and required passenger details have been received you can request your final vouchers via Sherpa. They will be posted on Sherpa no later than one business day from the time of request.
